9 Quick Apply Full-time 12 days ago Full Job Description Lee County is looking for an IT Technician to join our team! The Information Technology Technician is responsible for supporting the County's desktop and laptop computers and peripherals, including but not only:
printers, scanners, copiers and fax machines.
The IT Technician will also assist in the maintenance and administration of other County IT systems, including backups, maintaining system security, and providing support for end-users' software and hardware needs.
On a day-to-day basis IT Technicians:
Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot end-user workstations and related hardware/software.
Consult with and assist various software companies in the installation or updating of software programs.
Assist with the security of networks and county computer systems.
Provide technical support to end-users by phone, remote access and or site visits.
Maintain county-wide software and hardware inventory and tracking systems.
Develop inventory lists and orders, stock and store electronic components.
Assist in maintaining web-based resources for the county including the County's website and email systems.
Our ideal candidate will:
Possess an associate degree in Computer Science or related field, and one - five years' experience.
Be skilled in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting computer hardware and peripherals.
Have knowledge of Microsoft Windows-based computers, Office 365, antivirus applications, and network sharing configuration.
Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Possess excellent problem solving/analysis skills.
Can maintain effective working relationships with other county employees/departments.
Thrive in a diverse and fast-paced environment.
Possess excellent organizational and time management skills with the demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage tasks.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
